I have been around a lot of infusion pumps and worked with several infusion pump companies in the past. The Ivenix solution definitely well yes you could say next generation...but I would say a "leap frog" generation of a infusion management solution. Pretty much all the infusion pumps in the industry have approached the smart wireless connected pump from a "bolt on approach". Take your existing decade old solution and "bolt on" connectivity to make it a smart pump. Ivenix seems to be re-inventing the smart pump "wheel" and doing a good job at it.
